Hi brothers and sisters,

There are many exciting ministries unfolding at Pine Grove. Our desire, as we gather on Thursday evenings, is to bathe these activities in more prayer.

Simone and I would like to invite those who wish to learn more of intercession, and those who enjoy intercession, to join us.

Our goals are to (1) grow in prayer; (2) grow together in prayer; (3) intercede for Pine Grove, our city, and our world beyond; (4) invite ministry leaders at Pine Grove to join us occasionally, that we might bless them anew in prayer; and to (5) provide a prayer update every two to three weeks to all Pine Grove members, that those who cannot join us in person on Thursday evenings can join us in spirit as they pray in their homes.

I would love to see our "prayer meeting" provide yet another venue for God's grace and power to pulse through our church, its life, and its future direction. As we gather, we spend some time catching up on each others' lives, worshiping with a song or two, warming our hearts in God's word for 10 min., and then praying. (I've noticed that it's easy in prayer meetings to do everything but pray!)
